Meet The Team

As long as I can remember I have had an interest in leather and it stems from very early on when as a baby I wouldn't sleep on anything but sheep skin and kangaroo suede.

I am originally from deepest North Scotland. My first leather purchase was a biker jacket and jeans which I still have and my one best piece of advice I would give is to go for the look that you are most comfortable with and don't worry what other people say..

For as long as I can remember I've always been into leather and brought up around bikes. I started going out in leather around 30 years old and it's been the best thing I have done, not only stimulating my fetish but opening a world of friendship in the leather scene and out.

I am a keen biker and this has also spurred me on to BLUF and uniforms by wearing it daily.

I started coming to MLM shortly after the pandemic and got really involved with events such as leather weekend and doing a photoshoot for the leather weekend events.

I want to show everyone no matter what age you are or what body type you have, you can enjoy leather and meet new people.

I first started my leather journey while I was a student in university. I started out with just a jock and a harness and then my leather collection grew over time.

It wasn't until during the COVID-19 lockdown is where I got my full leather collection and started to wear full BLUF.

My looks are inspired by other leathermen on the circuit from around the world and asking people where they got an item from, so I can experiemnt with adding it to my look.

I have been part of the leather community in BrIghton, where I attended university and in Birmingham, where I am originally from but it weasn't until I moved the Manchester where I found my true home.

The committee members and all the guys who attended the leather socials and events welcomed me with open arms and in the process I made new friends, which are relationships that I will cherish.

Leather has had an appeal to me for as long as I can remember. 80s TV was full of it. Bought my first secondhand biker jacket from Affleck's Palace at age 15, since then it's been a very slippery, shiny, slope of finding bargains on ebay and other secondhand outlets, and slowly filling the basement of our house with the stuff, really must have a clear out. I'm also a biker and have plenty of that gear too.

I enjoy being part of the friendly club that is MLM and helping them with the colouring-in. If you see me at the next social please come over and say hello. I have made a lot of great friends all around the world through this shared passion for leather.

I started my leather journey in Manchester in 2019 while I was a student. I was lucky that two special guys from MLM took me under their wings and acted as my leather mentors and introduced me to the group. I'm a big believer in camaraderie in the community and looking after one another - hence why I joined the MLM committee as a means of supporting the group. I deal with anything social-media, promoting our club and our events. You can find me at our leather socials or even at events abroad.

George's interest in leather goes hand in glove with his passion for biking. Neil was a relative latecomer to the scene, but has more than made up for it in the 15 years he and George have been together. Between them they have an extensive collection of leather - so much that they’ve lost track of everything they have and are constantly surprised when opening cupboards and drawers ti find a long-lost leather treasure. They are proud to be able to help MLM go from strength to strength by taking care of memberships. You will find them at the membership table at socials; they'd love you to say hello!

Hi there, I'm Mike!

I joined the committee in 2025 as a general committee member after living in Manchester for over a year. Originally from sunny, warm Australia, I made the move to the UK with my husband—though certainly not for the weather!

Back in Australia, I was heavily involved in the fetish community, from co-hosting and running Eagle Sydney to holding the title of Mr Australian Leatherman 2019–2023. My leather journey began at a young age, sparked by my fascination with bikers during my school years. While I don't have a bike in the UK (thanks to the weather), I do miss riding.

Joining the committee is my way of giving back—lending a hand where needed and supporting the community that has been so welcoming. MLM has made the transition easier, and I'm grateful for the warmth and camaraderie.

As for my favourite piece of leather? Motorbike suits—because the more leather, the better!
